Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Duration: 8 weeks
Facility Name: The Mount Sinai Hospital
Facility Address: 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029
Shift: 7am to 3pm M-F and 7:30am to 3:30pm M-F
Client: Mount Sinai
Start date: 02/02/2026
Duties:
The Offsite Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the operation of the Nuclear Medicine Lab, including testing and maintaining equipment, educating patients and families about procedures, and performing nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards. The role includes working with Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT equipment.
Skills:
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Experience with Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT preferred.
Education & Certifications:
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Certified Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• Radiologic Technologist License issued by the New York State Department of Health.
• BCLS certification required.
Additional Information:
• This is a union role.
• Assignment length is 60 days only.
