Description
Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements). *Orientation for this unit will be held bi-weekly on Mondays. i.e. etc.1/5, 1/19
Shift: 4x10 Days 11:00-21:30
Ratios: 1:1
Years of Experience REQ: Trauma experience required. Ortho (2 years of lvl 1-2 exp - including total joints), Neuro (2 years of lvl 2 exp - including cranis), Gen/Trauma, Vascular, Endovascular/Hybrid, GYN/Uro, ENT/Plastics, Eyes, Robotics. RN needs to be very comfortable in a level 2 trauma unit. Must have well rounded experience in all specialties. 1 Year of Epic experience is required.
First-Timers Accepted: No
Weekend REQ: TBD
Certs REQ: BLS required. ACLS and PALS strongly preferred
Is on-call REQ? Yes, up to four 8 hour shifts a month per 4 week cycle.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No
Open to accommodating block schedule? TBD
Locals Accepted: No
Pending License Accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: There are no identified limitations for RTO, each submission is considered on a case by case basis.
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Busiest Service Lines: Busiest Service Lines: Ortho (2 years of lvl 1-2 exp - including total joints), Neuro (2 years of lvl 2 exp - including cranis), Gen/Trauma, Vascular, GYN/Uro, Robotics. RN needs to be very comfortable in a level 2 trauma unit.
Any special procedure done on the unit? We perform high acuity ortho, neuro, and general cases at all times of the day as part of our Level 2 Trauma certification.
Common Equipment: DaVinci Robotics Center of Excellence- 4 actively used robot rooms with one new DaVinci 5. Doppler, Ultrasound, Neptune, Aquamantis, Video Systems, Lasers, Various Stapling Systems, Hana and Jackson tables, DaVinci Xi Robots, Neuro Beds with Attachments, Cryoablation
Number of Beds/Cases: 60-70 per day
