Registered Nurse – Peds Step Down

Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital
Location: 1184 5th Ave – Kravis Building, New York, NY 10029
Start Date: January 5, 2026
End Date: April 4, 2026
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Nights)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Step Down experience in a hospital setting
Education Required: BSN required

Position Overview

The Pediatric Step Down Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, family-centered care to pediatric patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate acuity care. This role incorporates Mount Sinai's Relationship Centered Care model, emphasizing communication, partnership, safety, and clinical excellence. The RN delivers evidence-based nursing care, performs complex assessments, administers treatments, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
