The Pediatric Step Down Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, family-centered care to pediatric patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate acuity care. This role incorporates Mount Sinai's Relationship Centered Care model, emphasizing communication, partnership, safety, and clinical excellence. The RN delivers evidence-based nursing care, performs complex assessments, administers treatments, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
