Description
Title: Occupational Therapist – Outpatient
Location: Napa, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:30)
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills:

Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting; may float to acute rehab or other inpatient floors as needed.

Treat patients across age groups: adolescents, adults, geriatrics.

Perform evaluations, plan of care, reassessments, and documentation using Epic.

Work with patients on activities of daily living, adaptive equipment, cognitive assessment, and sensory integration.

Provide pediatric-focused care, including autism interventions, wheelchair evaluation & positioning, and developmental support.

Utilize splinting, dynamic/functional splints, upper extremity prosthetics, and modalities such as ultrasound.

Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and injury prevention.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy.
Required Qualifications:

California OT license in hand

BLS certification

Minimum 1–2 years of OT experience (outpatient experience preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:

Pediatric experience strongly preferred

Experience with adaptive equipment assessments, cognitive assessments, and functional splints

Experience in outpatient or acute care hospital settings
