Title: MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) – Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Newberg, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3x12-Hour (07:00–19:00)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations across a broad range of studies including neuro, GI, vascular, musculoskeletal, spine, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and breast imaging

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images

• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, providing clear instructions and patient support

• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as required

• Perform image post-processing including MIP, MPR, diffusion imaging, and Client mapping

• Utilize surface coils and appropriate protocols for various anatomical regions

• Adhere to MRI safety standards, infection control, and patient identification protocols

• Document procedures accurately using the electronic charting system

• Maintain workflow efficiency in a high-volume MRI department

• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient care needs

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent MRI Technologist experience

• Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers)

• Community hospital experience required

• Proficiency in MRI imaging of brain, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), abdomen, pelvis, chest, and musculoskeletal studies

• Experience with Client and/or Philips MRI scanners (1.5T)

• Ability to manage a varied daily caseload in an acute care setting

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R) (required)

• BLS – American Heart Association (required)

• State MRI Technologist license (required)
