Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT – Pediatrics)
Location: Apple Valley, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:30 AM – 05:00 PM; flexibility within daytime hours)

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements

Pediatric Physical Therapist position in a hospital-based outpatient clinic with potential support to acute care when outpatient volume is low. The role focuses on providing comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric and infant populations.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, assess, and treat pediatric and infant patients in an outpatient setting

• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized plans of care

• Perform milestone assessments and standardized evaluations (e.g., PDMS-2)

• Provide therapy for conditions such as developmental delays, torticollis, cerebral palsy, scoliosis, and orthopedic injuries

• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and ongoing care

• Complete accurate documentation, evaluations, and discharge planning

• Float to acute care services as needed when outpatient census is low

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience

• Required infant population experience (hard requirement)

• Active California Physical Therapist license

• BLS certification

• Ability to work independently and perform comprehensive assessments
