Description
RN – CSICU (Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit)
Location: 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description:
The CSICU Registered Nurse provides high-acuity critical care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery and complex cardiovascular procedures. The RN is responsible for continuous monitoring, advanced clinical assessment, and coordination of care within a fast-paced cardiac surgical ICU environment.
Requirements:

Must have Cardio Surgical ICU or Cardiac ICU experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute-care hospital setting

BSN required
-
Active NYS RN License
-
BLS certification
-
Minimum 2 years of Post–Open Heart and Cardiac Care Unit experience
Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to post–open heart and cardiovascular surgery patients

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, ventilators, and invasive lines

Manage advanced cardiac drips, medications, and postoperative recovery protocols

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all CSICU standards
