Description
RN – Hemodialysis
Location: 1111 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025
Shift: Day Shift | 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW required)
Job Description:
The Hemodialysis RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments while ensuring adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and individualized patient care plans. The nurse will also support Med-Surg functions as needed and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Hemodialysis experience

Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience
-
BSN required
-
Active NYS RN License
-
BLS certification
-
Minimum 2 years total RN experience

Charge nurse experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:

Perform and monitor hemodialysis treatments for acute and chronic patients

Assess patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions

Manage equipment, troubleshoot alarms, and ensure safety throughout treatment

Document assessments, vitals, treatment details, and patient responses

Provide patient education regarding dialysis and care plans

Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams
