Description
Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:

Administer Occupational Therapy as prescribed by a physician.

Determine specific treatment goals through evaluation and consultation with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.

Maintain patient records, documentation, and related reports.

Attend designated clinics, rounds, and conferences to provide patient information.

Interact with patient families and maintain therapy equipment and supplies.

May participate in educational programs for staff.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.

NYS licensure or eligibility.
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience, including acute care and outpatient settings.

IV therapy experience and ability to read telemetry strips.
Preferred/Additional Requirements:
-
Experience in Level I or II acute care hospitals.

Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
-
Willingness to float to other areas on campus.

Work one weekend per month.

Travel candidates must adhere to blackout dates and submit references, drug screen, and SSN.

EMR/Charting experience preferred (facility uses Epic).
