Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:

• Administer Occupational Therapy as prescribed by a physician.

• Determine specific treatment goals through evaluation and consultation with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.

• Maintain patient records, documentation, and related reports.

• Attend designated clinics, rounds, and conferences to provide patient information.

• Interact with patient families and maintain therapy equipment and supplies.

• May participate in educational programs for staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.

• NYS licensure or eligibility.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, including acute care and outpatient settings.

• IV therapy experience and ability to read telemetry strips.

Preferred/Additional Requirements:

• Experience in Level I or II acute care hospitals.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

• Willingness to float to other areas on campus.

• Work one weekend per month.

• Travel candidates must adhere to blackout dates and submit references, drug screen, and SSN.

• EMR/Charting experience preferred (facility uses Epic).
