Job Title: ED / Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel

Location: Hillsboro, Kansas

Duration: 8–13 weeks (Negotiable)

Shift:
Night Shift – 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients in both the Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical units

• Manage patient assignments on the medical-surgical floor as well as emergency room patients as needed

• Perform rapid assessments, interventions, and monitoring for acute and stable patients

• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to hospital standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license

• Minimum 1 year of experience (ED and Med-Surg experience required)

• Ability to work independently across dual units

• First-time travelers accepted

Current Certifications

• BLS

• ACLS

• PALS (preferred, not required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in both Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical settings

• Travel nursing experience
