Description
Title: Electrophysiology (EP) Tech
Location: York, PA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 – 16:30); weekends as needed
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:
-
Perform duties as an EP Lab Technologist in an invasive cardiology setting
-
Prepare patients and procedure rooms; set up and operate EP lab equipment
-
Maintain sterile field while scrubbing and circulating procedures
-
Perform EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and accurate physiologic monitoring
-
Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
-
Assist with electrophysiology procedures including diagnostic EP studies, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, and conduction studies
-
Support cardiac ablations, pacemaker and AICD insertion/programming, and left atrial appendage (LAA) closure procedures
-
Utilize fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment (preferred experience)
-
Assist with vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose (preferred)

Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterile technique standards

Document procedures and patient care using Epic (required experience)

Float within the unit as needed and remain available until all patients are cared for
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Experience with invasive electrophysiology procedures

Epic charting experience
-
Ability to work flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
