Description

📍 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN) / Scrub Tech
📌 Facility Location: Main Campus, 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany, NY 12208
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks

⏰ Shift: Day Shift (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)

Advanced Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years of OR experience (RN or Scrub Tech)
Level I Trauma experience preferred
Must be able to work independently and function effectively as part of the surgical team

Procedures Performed on Unit:

Complex Neuro cases & neuro-navigation
Spine surgery (Neuro & Ortho)
Robotic procedures (Urology, GYN, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Colorectal, Thoracic, ENT)
Minimally invasive & advanced open vascular procedures
Plastics (minor & major)
Cardiac (open & minimally invasive)
Orthopedics (total joints—minimally invasive & open, ortho trauma)
Pediatric cases (minor & major, including pediatric cardiac)
Urology & Gynecology

Licensure & Certifications:

New York State RN License required (for RNs)
Surgical Tech certification or exemption required (for Scrub Techs)
