Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
Location: Lancaster, SC
Duration: 13 Weeks (Travel Assignment)

Shift:

• Nights

• 4x12s

• 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

• Every other weekend as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients, including high-risk obstetric cases

• Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) patients with ratios of 1:1–1:2

• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and safely catch and transition newborns after delivery

• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and responding to complications promptly

• Float within scope to sister units as required to meet facility needs

• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatology, and multidisciplinary teams

• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Proven ability to catch and transition infants after delivery

• Experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients

• First-time travelers not accepted

Current Certifications (AHA Only)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred Qualifications

• LDRP experience

• STABLE certification

• Additional experience in high-acuity or high-risk obstetrics

• Local radius: 60 miles

• Local candidates accepted (paid at 10% less than posted rate)
