Job Title: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN)
Location: Lancaster, SC
Duration: 13 Weeks (Travel Assignment)

Shift:

• Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• 4x12s (manager approval)

• Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize dysrhythmias, and initiate appropriate interventions

• Manage patient assignments with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6–1:7

• Administer medications, perform assessments, and coordinate patient care plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Float within scope to like units or sister units as required by facility needs

• Document all patient care accurately and timely using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (in hand prior to start)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience

• Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)

• Strong Medical-Surgical nursing background

Current Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Telemetry nursing experience

• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias

• Experience managing cardiac dysrhythmias

Distance Requirement

• Local radius: 60 miles

• Local candidates accepted (paid at 10% less than the posted rate)
