Description
Job Title: OR Registered Nurse – Trauma / Ortho / Neuro
Location: Bend, OR
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:

Primary shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
-
On-call required:
-
2 weeknights every 6 weeks
-
One weekend (Saturday & Sunday), 12-hour shifts (days or nights) approximately every 6 weeks

Key Responsibilities
-
Provide perioperative nursing care for orthopedic trauma, craniotomy, and trauma surgical cases
-
Assist surgeons during Trauma Level II procedures, ensuring strict adherence to surgical protocols
-
Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and sterile fields for complex surgical cases
-
Monitor patient status throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
-
Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum of 3 years recent Operating Room RN experience
-
Required experience in Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, Trauma, and Trauma Level II cases (hard stop)
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
First-time travelers accepted with 3 years of experience
-
Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Pending license accepted on a case-by-case basis
Current Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)
Preferred Qualifications

CNOR certification preferred
