Schedule & Staffing

• Shift: Day shift, 10-hour shifts (06:30 – 17:00)

• Scheduling Type: Unit-based

• Call Required: Yes

• Floating Required: Yes

• Weekend Coverage: Every other or every third weekend

• First-time Travelers: Accepted if experience is strong

• Orientation: 30 hours

Experience Requirements (HARD STOPS)

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience REQUIRED

• Must be competent in coronary and peripheral diagnostic & interventional procedures

• Must be able to work independently in a Cath Lab setting

Required Certifications

• BLS

• ACLS

Preferred Certifications

• CCI RCIS

• CCI RCES

• NIHSS

• PALS

Core Cath Lab Responsibilities (REQUIRED)

• Circulate and scrub Cath Lab procedures

• Patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Administration and monitoring of procedural sedation

• Sheath removal and vascular access monitoring

• Radiation safety and infection prevention

• Accurate Epic documentation

• ACT monitoring and post-procedure care

Scrubs

• Provided (unit standard)

Key Submission Notes

• Must be comfortable with high-acuity cardiac & vascular cases

• Strong scrub and circulate skills required

• Broad procedural exposure preferred due to mixed Cath / IR environment
