Description
Title: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Tulsa, OK
Duration:13-week contract
Shift: Mid shift, 5x8 hours (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
Job Responsibilities
-
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
-
Provide imaging support across multiple areas including Emergency Department, Surgery/OR, ICU, NICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings
-
Conduct portable and bedside radiography, including fluoroscopy procedures
-
Operate C-Arm equipment during surgical procedures
-
Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
-
Document exams accurately and maintain imaging records using PACS and electronic charting systems
-
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support patient care
-
Manage a daily caseload of approximately 15–20 exams per technologist
Required Skills and Requirements
-
Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist

Active ARRT (R) certification
-
Current BLS certification
-
Experience in a community hospital setting

Proficiency in general radiography, ER imaging, surgery, and fluoroscopy

Ability to perform portable exams and work across varied patient populations

Familiarity with PACS and Epic charting systems
Preferred Skills
-
Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center

Experience imaging neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
-
Familiarity with Client and Siemens imaging equipment
-
Strong adaptability to variable shifts and clinical demands
