Title: Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS)
Location: Bristol, TN
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:00); rotating weekends and holidays, call required

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Scrub and maintain sterile field during procedures

• Prepare patients and access sites; perform EKG lead placement

• Accurately monitor hemodynamics and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias

• Assist with vascular access and closure devices (Perclose, StarClose)

• Operate fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment

• Support advanced cardiac procedures including PCI, PTCA, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, IABP, Impella, VAD, and electrophysiology studies

• Maintain equipment, inventory, PACS, and stock supplies

• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotations

• Float to a nearby affiliated facility when needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, respiratory, radiology, and rapid response teams

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 5 years of Cath Lab experience (required)

• RCIS certification required

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Prior charge experience required

• Previous travel experience required (no first-time travelers)

• Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs

• Proficiency with Epic charting system

• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, vascular interventions, and emergency response protocols
