Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse for a Short Term Acute Care facility. This role will provide critical care nursing in a low-acuity ICU environment. The nurse must be confident working independently and may be the sole RN staffed on the unit. First-year nurses and new grads are welcome to apply.

Work Schedule

• Weekends Required: Yes

  • Schedule: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

• Float Between Units: No

• On-Call Required: No

• Block Schedules Required: No

• 48-Hour Shifts: Not Approved

Patient Care and Ratios

• Expected Ratios: 1 Nurse : 3 Patients

• Unit Type: Low Acuity ICU

  • Nurse must be able to work independently

  • At times may be the only RN staffed on the ICU

Required Qualifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Charge Nurse on a Medical-Surgical unit (preferred, not required)
