Title: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Bel Air, MD
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours (06:30 – 19:00)

Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills & Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform duties in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Scrub and circulate during Cath Lab procedures while maintaining sterile technique

• Set up rooms and equipment for cardiac procedures

• Monitor patients and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias

• Assist physicians with procedures including PCI/PTCA, stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and IABP placement/removal

• Interpret dysrhythmias and support patient safety throughout procedures

• Follow isolation precautions and emergency response protocols

• Participate in on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• ARRT (R) or RCIS (CCI) certification

• Ability to take on-call shifts (approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts per 6-week schedule)

• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures such as rotablator atherectomy and implant closure devices

• Experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac Cath Lab settings
