Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Travel)
Location: Ronceverte, WV 24970
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift / Hours: 3x12 (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Every other weekend

Job Summary : Greenbrier Valley Medical Center is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a travel assignment. The primary need is for day shifts with blocked scheduling. This role supports mothers and newborns in antepartum, delivery, and postpartum care. Travelers must clock in and out to be paid and comply with all facility policies regarding missed shifts and documentation.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required (1 year acceptable for first-time travelers)
Licensure: Active West Virginia RN license or Compact license (pending acceptable)

Certifications (AHA-approved):
BLS
ACLS
NRP
FHM
AWHONN (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
Flu Vaccine: Required (medical exemptions only)
Preferred: Cerner charting experience

Skills & Competencies
Labor & Delivery Management:
Assist with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, forceps/vacuum extraction, C-section recovery, sterile vaginal exams
Amnioinfusion, hemorrhage/shock management, couplet care, multiple births
Pain management including epidural administration
