📍 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
📌 Facility Location: 1600 Wallace Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79106
📆 Start Date: ASAP
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks

⏰ Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)

Unit Details:

35-bed Medical Surgical & Orthopedic unit
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6
Telemetry monitored in a centralized unit
Free-floating charge nurse
Patient Care Technicians available
Patient Transporters available
House discharge nurse floats across all departments

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 1 year RN experience
First-time travelers accepted
EPIC experience within the last 6 months required

Certifications Required:

BLS, NIHSS

Floating & Scheduling:

Floating required to units of equal or lesser acuity
Block scheduling considered case by case

Scrub Color:

Any color, no logos

Documentation System:

EPIC

Local Traveler Policy:

50-mile radius rule strictly enforced
Candidates must live 50 miles from the facility
