X-Ray Technologist – Travel Contract
Location: Columbia, SC
Facility: Prisma Health Richland Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts
Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday
Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Overview
Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate is skilled in acute care imaging and comfortable working independently in a high-acuity environment, including trauma and pediatric settings.
Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience preferred

1 year accepted only if the candidate has:
-
Full-time experience at a Level I Trauma Center and Children's Hospital

Demonstrated experience in OR and fluoroscopic studies

First-time travelers not accepted
Required Certifications & License
-
ARRT (R) – Required
-
BLS – Required
-
Active SCRQSA license – Required (pending licenses not accepted)
Skills & Competencies
-
Acute care imaging experience including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR
-
Proficient in portable/bedside X-ray, trauma imaging, and C-arm procedures
-
Experience with fluoroscopic studies (e.g., barium swallow, esophagram)

Ability to perform all aspects of X-ray independently
-
Willingness to complete equipment-specific training as needed

Epic charting experience required
