X-Ray Technologist – Travel Contract

Location: Columbia, SC
Facility: Prisma Health Richland Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts
Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday
Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview

Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate is skilled in acute care imaging and comfortable working independently in a high-acuity environment, including trauma and pediatric settings.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience preferred

• 1 year accepted only if the candidate has:

  • Full-time experience at a Level I Trauma Center and Children's Hospital

  • Demonstrated experience in OR and fluoroscopic studies

• First-time travelers not accepted

Required Certifications & License

• ARRT (R) – Required

• BLS – Required

• Active SCRQSA license – Required (pending licenses not accepted)

Skills & Competencies

• Acute care imaging experience including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR

• Proficient in portable/bedside X-ray, trauma imaging, and C-arm procedures

• Experience with fluoroscopic studies (e.g., barium swallow, esophagram)

• Ability to perform all aspects of X-ray independently

• Willingness to complete equipment-specific training as needed

• Epic charting experience required
