Description

Job Title : Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day 4x10-Hour M-F (07:30 - 18:00)
Location : Charleston, WV 25304

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience required
First-time travelers accepted

On-Call Requirements:

Approximately 8 on-call days per month
Includes 1 weekend per month
30-minute response time required

Floating:

Required to float to CAMC General (sister facility located 2 miles from CAMC Memorial) for one week

Scheduling Flexibility:

Blocked scheduling requests may be considered within reason and discussed during the interview

Travel Radius Rule:

100-mile radius preferred
Candidates within 75–99 miles may be submitted for facility approval

Licensure & Certifications:

ARRT required
West Virginia state license required (may submit with pending license; must be active prior to start)
BLS required
Vascular Intervention certification preferred

Required Skills & Competencies
Work Setting:

Interventional Radiology

Equipment & Systems:

PACS
Equipment operation, maintenance, and inventory management
Supply stocking
Fluoroscopy (Siemens preferred)
Ultrasound experience preferred

Procedural Responsibilities:

Accurate patient monitoring
Equipment setup
EKG lead placement
Access site preparation
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
Room circulation
Scrub role with sterile field maintenance
Use of vascular closure devices (Perclose, StarClose)

Infection Control:

Strict adherence to sterile technique
