Title: Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Location: Cleveland, OH
Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult and specialty patient populations

• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and diagnostic procedures

• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and airway equipment

• Assist with emergency response, airway management, and code situations

• Deliver respiratory therapies including aerosol treatments, suctioning, and blood gas sampling

• Support neuro-diagnostic and pulmonary care as assigned

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans

• Accurately document all respiratory care and interventions per facility policy

• Float to affiliated facilities or units as needed

• Work weekends as required and adhere to scheduling needs

• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

• Experience working in acute care hospital settings

• Ability to work independently during night shifts

• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills

• Flexibility to float between units and facilities as needed

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – NBRC (required, active and in hand)

• Ohio Respiratory Therapy License (required, active and in hand at time of submission)

• BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA) (required, active)
