Description
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift: 3x12: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night assignment in Syracuse, NY.
Candidate Preferences

Pediatric experience strongly preferred
Required Qualifications
-
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
-
New York State license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist
-
Minimum 2 years of post–A.A.S. acute care clinical experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
-
Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapies
-
Initiate and monitor oxygen therapy
-
Assist physicians with initiation and maintenance of continuous mechanical ventilation
-
Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
-
Perform pulmonary function testing
-
Perform radial arterial punctures
-
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in an acute care setting with minimal supervision
