Description
Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday 08:00 – 16:30; one weekend per month

Role Overview

Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans in the outpatient setting.

Establish specific, measurable goals in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Provide direct patient care, maintain timely documentation including progress notes and discharge summaries.

Attend clinics, rounds, and conferences and share relevant patient information with care teams.

Participate in staff education programs and training of new staff.

Serve as clinical instructor for senior-level physical therapy students and support new program development initiatives.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.

Licensure: New York State Physical Therapy license or eligibility.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute and/or outpatient physical therapy experience.

Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
