Description
📍 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Pediatric ICU (PICU)
📌 Facility Location: 1 Children's Cir, Syracuse, NY 13210
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks
⏰ Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (07:00 PM – 07:00 AM)

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Some holidays required
Unit Details:

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
-
Night shift coverage
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years of PICU experience
-
Experience must be in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
-
Experience must be recent (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level
-
Travelers considered only if experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers
Licensure & Certifications:
-
Current New York State RN License
-
BLS certification (must be current and able to recertify)
Preferred Experience:
-
EPIC EMR experience
Candidate Requirements:
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
-
Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
-
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
-
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
-
Subject to drug screening and criminal background check
Duties & Expectations:
-
Perform the majority of patient care skills independently
-
Strong nursing assessment skills in a pediatric ICU acute care setting

Ability to work with minimal orientation and supervision
