Title: Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient
Location: Florence, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services in a hospital-based rehab clinic

• Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized plans of care

• Deliver therapeutic interventions focused on safety, injury prevention, and functional improvement

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and safety strategies

• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately in the EMR

• Assess pain levels, skin integrity, and use of assistive devices as appropriate

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required

• Maintain compliance with professional, safety, and infection-control standards

Required Skills, Certifications & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient Physical Therapy experience

• Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)

• Active South Carolina or Multi-State Compact PT license required by start of contract

• BLS certification required

• Experience with:

  • Patient assessment and evaluation

  • Documentation and plan-of-care development

  • Pain assessment and safety practices

• Ability to provide patient and family education

• Willingness to float as needed within scope

• EMR experience preferred (Epic used)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with assistive devices

• Skin integrity assessment

• Outpatient clinic experience in a hospital-based setting
