Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Facility: Kings County Hospital Center
Location: 451 Clarkson Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203
Start Date: 02/02/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 3×12.5 Hours (8:00 PM – 8:30 AM)
Schedule: 3 Shifts per Week, Every Other Weekend

Position Overview

This position is for a Telemetry Registered Nurse assigned to the Telemetry Unit at Kings County Hospital Center. The RN will provide care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. The role requires strong telemetry skills, IV therapy experience, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Active New York State RN License – Required

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 year Telemetry experience – Required

    • Minimum 2 years IV insertion and Phlebotomy experience – Required

    • Minimum 2 years Conscious Sedation experience – Required

Certifications

  • BLS (AHA) – Required

  • ACLS (AHA) – Required

  • Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration through NYS Department of Education (NYSED) – Required
