Weekend Requirement: Yes — Every Other Weekend

Facility Overview
This position is based in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital with 379 total staffed beds and a Level II Trauma Center.
Position Summary
The Step Down RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the step down unit, with the ability to float between units as needed. The role requires adherence to departmental standards, collaboration with the healthcare team, and competent, compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a step down setting with an expected patient ratio of 1:4.

Float between units as required to meet patient care needs.

Work every other weekend as scheduled.

Follow hospital policies and procedures.

Utilize approved clinical and safety practices at all times.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
