Shift: Days – 3×12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Schedule: 3 Days per Week

Position Overview

This position is for a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse assigned to the Med/Surg Unit at Jacobi Medical Center. The RN will provide direct patient care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, support the orientation of new hires, and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Licensure: Active New York State RN License – Required

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years IV insertion and Phlebotomy experience – Required

  • Minimum 2 years Conscious Sedation experience – Required

• Education:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program – Required

Certifications

• BLS (AHA) – Required

• ACLS (AHA) – Required for Queens facilities
