Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
Location: Reno, NV 89511
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Eligibility: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facilitySchedule & Call Requirements
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician works in a multidisciplinary cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. This role includes scrub and monitoring responsibilities while ensuring the safe and effective operation of catheterization and radiology imaging equipment.Key Responsibilities

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Eligibility: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facilitySchedule & Call Requirements
- Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4×10s)
- Workdays: Monday–Friday
- On-Call Requirement: Yes
- 10–15 on-call shifts per month based on staffing needs (vacations, coverage, etc.)
- Weekday Call: 5:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Weekend Call:
- Friday 5:00 PM – Saturday 6:30 AM
- Saturday 6:30 AM – Sunday 6:30 AM
- Sunday 6:30 AM – Monday 6:30 AM
- Coverage includes 24/7 STEMI call
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician works in a multidisciplinary cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. This role includes scrub and monitoring responsibilities while ensuring the safe and effective operation of catheterization and radiology imaging equipment.Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Perform scrub and monitoring duties using catheterization lab equipment.
- Operate radiology imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team.
- RCIS or ARRT Certification – Required
- BLS and ACLS Certification – Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology
- Degree in a related field (AA, BA, BS, BSN) or equivalent years of experience – Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
