Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT – Pediatrics)
Location: Apple Valley, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM); option for 10-hour days if preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric occupational therapy services in a hospital-based outpatient clinic

• Perform developmental testing and treatment for pediatric patients

• Evaluate patients, develop plans of care, complete reassessments, and manage discharges

• Treat common pediatric diagnoses including autism and developmental delays

• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and early intervention needs

• Maintain accurate billing and clinical documentation using Epic

• Collaborate within a full-service interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, SLP)

• Float into the acute care hospital setting when outpatient census is low

Required & Preferred Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric OT experience (must be proficient and independent)

• Pediatric occupational therapy experience required

• Developmental testing/treatment experience required

• Acute care experience preferred (for floating when needed)

• Experience working with autism and developmental delay populations

• Skills in evaluation, plan of care development, reassessments, and discharge planning

• Experience with ADLs, early intervention, and pediatric therapy workflows

• Familiarity with Epic charting preferred

• Ability to work in outpatient pediatric and hospital-based settings

• BLS certification required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Valid California OT license must be in hand (temporary licenses not accepted)
