Description

Pediatric Echo Tech
Location: Charleston, SC
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift | 5x8s (06:30–15:00)
Schedule: Monday–Friday with staggered start times between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM
Caseload: 4–10 studies per tech per day

Position Overview

The Pediatric Echo Tech will perform pediatric echocardiograms with a strong focus on complex congenital heart disease. This role requires flexibility to float between facilities and proficiency with advanced imaging systems.

Schedule & Work Requirements

No weekends
No holidays
No on-call
Floating required between SJCH and SMP (North Charleston clinic)

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience
First-time travelers accepted
Certifications (must be in hand by start date):
- ARDMS Registered Pediatric Sonographer with PE certification OR
- CCI with RCCS certification
Pending state license accepted
Proficient in pediatric echocardiograms, including complex congenital heart defects
Extensive knowledge of pediatric heart disease and defects
BLS required

Preferred Experience

Experience with Client Vivid 95
Experience entering full reports in a PACS system
