Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Radiology Tech)
Location: Washington, DC 20037
Distance Requirement: Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Call: On-call availability required
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using fixed and mobile radiographic equipment. The technologist will support imaging services across multiple hospital settings, including the Emergency Department and Main Diagnostic areas, while maintaining patient safety and image quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using fixed and mobile imaging equipment

Produce high-quality radiographic images in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards

Operate imaging equipment in hospital environments such as the ER and diagnostic imaging departments

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures

Adhere to radiation safety and quality control standards

Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare staff to deliver exceptional patient care

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements

Associate's Degree or equivalent from an approved Radiologic Technology program

ARRT certification required

Active State/District Radiologic Technologist license required

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist

Current BLS certification

Knowledge of current Radiation Quality and Safety Standards

Active RT registration
