Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Washington, DC 20037
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 8-Hour Shifts
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Call Required)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support Operating Room services. The CST will be responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgical team throughout procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and prepare the operating room for scheduled and emergency surgical procedures

Ensure proper sterilization, setup, and availability of surgical instruments and equipment

Assemble and manage case carts for both scheduled and emergency surgeries

Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control standards

Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and providing instruments

Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff
Requirements

NBSTSA certification required (Certified Surgical Technologist – CST)

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience

BLS certification required

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Strong communication and teamwork skills
