Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Berlin, VT
Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 – 23:30)

Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills & Requirements:

• Perform MRI examinations in a community-based teaching hospital setting, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

• Operate wide-bore MRI equipment and conduct routine and specialized MRI procedures across various patient populations.

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including screening, positioning, IV access, and administration of contrast media.

• Accurately document exams and patient information using the Epic electronic medical record system.

• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams across radiology, OR, ER, and off-site units as needed.

• Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control policies, and departmental protocols.

• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, including one night per week and every 4th or 5th weekend, with potential weekend and holiday coverage.

• Float within the radiology department as required to meet operational needs.

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT MRI certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI clinical experience.

• Teaching hospital experience.

• Recent Epic charting experience (within the past 2 years; required).

• Ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast.

• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including call coverage.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in a multi-modality radiology department.

• Strong communication and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfort working independently during assigned shifts when needed.
