Description
Job Title: Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Charleston, SC 29401
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift:
-
3x12-hour Day shifts
-
7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide high-acuity nursing care to pediatric critical care patients
-
Float within scope to all pediatric units including CVPICU, PICU, and NICU
-
Maintain patient safety, monitoring, and documentation in critical care settings
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric care teams
Required Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 2 years Pediatric ICU experience
-
Ability to float across pediatric critical care units
-
Eligible for first-time travelers with required experience
Current Certifications:
-
BLS (AHA required)
-
PALS (AHA required)
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with ECMO
-
Experience with CRRT
Distance Requirement:
-
60-mile local radius
-
Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis (10% reduced bill rate for locals)
