Description

Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Location: New York, NY 10016
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Department: Social Work (Non-Behavioral Health)
Schedule
Rotating schedule including weekends
Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
Possible shift times:

8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with experience working with children and adolescents in a hospital-based setting. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to Child CPEP (Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program) services and be comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience
Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations
Hospital-based experience strongly preferred
Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) (Primary Source Verification required)

Key Responsibilities

Provide psychosocial assessments for children and adolescents in crisis settings
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and disposition planning
Offer crisis intervention and short-term counseling
Assist with discharge planning and coordination of community resources
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
