Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU (Travel)

Rooms/Beds: 14 Rooms / 16 Beds

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13 week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong critical care background with specific Neuro ICU experience, proficiency with Epic charting, and the ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neurological patients in a Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

• Monitor and interpret neurodiagnostic data (ICP, EEG, neuro checks)

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes

• Document all patient care and interventions in Epic

• Respond effectively to rapid changes in patient condition

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in applicable state

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience

• Travel experience required

• Previous experience with Epic charting

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

• NIHSS certification required

• Ability to float to ICU, IMC, and Tele units as needed
