Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU (Travel)
Location: Tyler Texas
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3 × 12-hour shifts
Unit: Neuro ICU
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Rooms/Beds: 14 Rooms / 16 Beds
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13 week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong critical care background with specific Neuro ICU experience, proficiency with Epic charting, and the ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neurological patients in a Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

Monitor and interpret neurodiagnostic data (ICP, EEG, neuro checks)

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes

Document all patient care and interventions in Epic

Respond effectively to rapid changes in patient condition

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in applicable state

Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience

Travel experience required

Previous experience with Epic charting

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

NIHSS certification required
-
Ability to float to ICU, IMC, and Tele units as needed
