Job Title: Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Kingwood, WV 26537 (100 miles from the facility.)
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
Schedule: Every other weekend, weekdays; self-scheduling; float not required
Contract : 13 weeks 

Job Overview : Preston Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a critical care setting. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably with ICU or critical care exposure, and is competent in ventilator management, conscious sedation, telemetry, and other ICU-specific skills.

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the ICU, managing critically ill patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
Monitor and interpret patient conditions using cardiac monitoring, ABGs, and other critical care assessments
Administer medications, including IV sedation, continuous paralytics, vasoactive drips, and emergency medications
Perform procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, PICC line management, sheath removal, and 12-lead ECGs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, social services, and radiology
Follow infection prevention and isolation protocols
Document patient care accurately in EMR (CPSI)
Participate in orientation and mandatory modules prior to start

Qualifications Required:
Active RN license (WV or Compact; pending license acceptable)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Flu vaccine (medical exemptions only)
Strong ICU skills: ventilator management, conscious sedation, telemetry, critical care interventions
