Title: Respiratory Therapist / Neuro Diagnostics (CRT or RRT)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: Night – 3x12-Hour (18:30 – 07:00)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients across inpatient units

• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and monitoring in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols

• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, oxygen delivery systems, and airway clearance therapies

• Respond to respiratory emergencies, rapid responses, and code situations during night shifts

• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results as appropriate

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient respiratory outcomes

• Document all patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

• Support neuro-diagnostic and respiratory-related procedures as assigned

• Float to other hospital units or affiliated facilities as needed based on staffing requirements

• Provide patient and family education related to respiratory care when appropriate

• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards

• Participate in orientation, competency validation, and required training modules

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care hospital setting

• Demonstrated experience managing ventilated and high-acuity patients

• Ability to work independently on night shifts with minimal supervision

• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and float assignments as needed

• Prior travel experience preferred but not required

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Active and in hand

• NBRC Certification – Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required and active

• Active Ohio Respiratory Care License – Required and must be in hand at time of submission
