Description
Title: Radiation Therapist
Location:Charleston, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, 08:00 – 17:00)
Job Responsibilities and Required & Preferred Skills and Requirements
Responsibilities:
-
Deliver radiation therapy treatments to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in acute and outpatient settings
-
Perform CT simulation, tumor localization, and treatment planning support
-
Administer external beam radiation therapy and assist with brachytherapy procedures
-
Assist with intracavitary and interstitial radiation administration
-
Conduct CBCT/kV/mV imaging and chart checks
-
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans
-
Manage emergency situations and utilize rapid response/code teams as needed
-
Ensure radiation safety compliance and proper use of PPE and isolation precautions
-
Cross-cover different radiation treatment machines as needed
-
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC/ARIA systems
Required Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience

Previous charge experience required
-
Travel experience required
-
First-time travelers not accepted
Certifications (Required/Preferred):
-
ARRT Radiation Therapy (SCRQSA) – Required
-
BLS – Required
-
Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
