Job Title: Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Port St. Lucie, FL 34987

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift – 4×10-hour shifts (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.

• Perform scrub, circulating, and room setup duties while maintaining sterile technique and infection control standards.

• Support procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, implant closures, IABP placement/removal, atherectomy, and right/left heart catheterizations.

• Monitor patient hemodynamics and recognize/respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.

• Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and imaging systems before, during, and after procedures.

• Ensure accurate documentation and proper post-procedure room turnover.

• Provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity cath lab setting.

• Float within system facilities and support multiple service lines as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient procedural care.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional or Cath Lab experience (18 months preferred).

• Experience in at least two of the following areas: Interventional Radiology, Neuro, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath.

• Ability to scrub procedures and maintain a sterile field.

Current Certifications:

• ARRT (R) or RCIS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 18 months or more of recent Cath Lab/Interventional experience.

• Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced hospital settings.

• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring systems and advanced interventional equipment.
