Description
Title: Echo Tech – Cardiac Sonographer (Adult/Pediatric)
Location: Lubbock, TX
Duration: 8 weeks
Shift:
Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 – 17:00)
On-call required (night/weekend rotation)
Job Responsibilities:
-
Perform adult and pediatric echocardiography examinations, including 2D and 3D echo
-
Conduct specialized studies such as bubble studies, color Doppler, contrast imaging, and portable exams
-
Provide echocardiography services in outpatient, emergency department, ICU, and pediatric acute care settings
-
Evaluate and document cardiac structure and function for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics
-
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including radiology, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
-
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic and PACS systems
-
Participate in night and weekend on-call rotation as required
Required Experience & Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience

Prior pediatric echocardiography experience required
-
Trauma Level II experience required
-
Proficiency with Epic charting system

Ability to perform approximately 5–8 exams per day

Adult and pediatric echo certification required
Certifications:
-
BLS (required)
-
ARDMS RDCS AE (required)
-
ARDMS RDCS PE (preferred)
-
RDCS – RVT (preferred)
