Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Endoscopy (ENDO RN)

Location: Rome, NY 13440

Duration: 13 week Travel Contract

Shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts | 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM | Monday–Friday

One weekend day of on-call coverage
40 hours guaranteed per week

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including ERCP
Prepare patients pre-procedure and monitor during and post-procedure recovery
Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient response per protocol
Maintain a safe and sterile procedural environment
Document care accurately and timely per facility standards
Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Recent Endoscopy nursing experience
Proven experience assisting with ERCP procedures
Ability to work scheduled shifts and on-call requirements

Current Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior travel nursing experience
Experience in high-volume endoscopy units

Distance Requirement:

Candidates must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
