Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department 
Location: Washington, DC 20032
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: 3 × 12-hour night shifts

Job Summary : Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced, high-acuity ED. The RN will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population, including trauma, critical care, pediatric, psychiatric, and urgent care patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to emergency and trauma patients
Perform critical care interventions including medication titration, arterial line management, chest tubes, and mass transfusion protocols
Rapidly assess, prioritize, and manage patients with complex and emergent conditions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
Ensure compliance with patient safety standards and emergency protocols
Provide compassionate care while promoting a positive patient experience

Required Qualifications
Current RN license in Washington, DC (or compact eligibility if applicable)
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nursing program

PALS
TNCC
NIHSS
