Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Reno, NV 89511

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Guaranteed Hours: Based on facility requirements

Requirements:

Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility
Active RRT credential
Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience (required)
Experience with high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, neonatal intubation, neonatal ventilator management, bubble CPAP, heated high flow, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance
NICU transport experience preferred
Must be available for overtime and on-call shifts as needed
Must float to adult critical care and neonatal critical care units

Certifications Required:

NRP
ACLS
BLS
PALS

Job Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory care as prescribed by physicians
Perform diagnostic evaluations and cardiopulmonary testing
Manage mechanical ventilation and airway care
Administer respiratory medications and therapies
Support patient education and rehabilitation across care settings
