Schedule

• Nights | 3×12s | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Weekend: Every other

• Block scheduling: Try to accommodate (not guaranteed)

• Float required (within scope, like units only)

Unit Details

• Beds: 19 (18 rooms)

• Average Daily Census: 19

• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics

• Ratios:

  • Days/Eves: 5:1 (stretch 6–7)

  • Nights: 6–7:1 (stretch 8–10 if short)

• Support Services: PCTs, IV Team, Phlebotomy, RT, PT, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary

• Charting: Epic (preferred)

• Scrubs: Navy & white combinations

Requirements

Experience:

• 1 year recent MS/Tele experience

• First-time travelers accepted

• No locals (75-mile radius)

• RTO: Max 1 week per contract

Certifications:

• BLS (required)

• NIHSS (preferred)

Key Skills:

• Cardiac monitoring

• Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias

• Rapid Response activation

• Peripheral IV care / phlebotomy

• Oxygen therapy & non-invasive airway management

• Isolation precautions

• Amiodarone drip management
